Job Description

Assemble parts into completed bath wastes and accessories, including preparatory work such as inspecting, sorting, stocking parts, making subassemblies, grinding, tooling, tapping parts, and other tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Requires the ability to perform all production and machine related jobs.

Equipment Operated:

Cut-off saw Tapping Machine Threader Hand tools (gauges, box knives, pliers)

Scales Small power tools Dollies Pneumatic/Hydraulic hand trucks

Lifting/Weight Requirements:

Lift and carry up to 50 lbs for distances of up to 4 feet. Pulling/pushing up to 200 lbs. for distances of up to 20 feet, on a cart or dolly. Lift up to 40 lbs. to heights above the shoulder.

Skill Requirements:

Recognize unsafe situations at all times.

Alert and aware of all safety hazards such as moving equipment and forklifts.

Accurate and fast picking and assembling of parts.

Accurate counting of parts.

Read 25 character part numbers and correctly stock inventory by part number in racks.

Accurately enter part numbers and quantities into a computer.

Communicate with associates and understand instructions.

Job Requirements

  • Document work progress via tally sheets or cell board production
  • Perform multiple assembly operations as a member of a team to manufacture and package all sizes of products
  • Work in a warehouse environment, and is important that have a manufacturing background, as will be working on a production line
  • Implement the new assembly projects
  • Resolve assembly and production issues
  • Produce part and assembly drawings for manufacturing
