Requirements of the CDL-A Driver:
- Resume required, if the client is interested we will then schedule an interview.
- Must be at least 21 yrs old
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Hazmat Endorsement, if they do not have it they must get it within 90 days of accepting the position.
-1yr of CMV driving experience
- High School Diploma/GED
Responsibilities of the CDL-A Driver:
-Deliver orders and pick up returns safely and accurately to and from stores and/or warehouses.
-load (with assistance) and unload (without assistance) all product to assigned vehicle
- conduct daily inspection of the vehicle and report any and all deficiencies and/or defects immediately to direct Supervisor.
- Maintain a valid CDL driver's license w/ required Hazmat endorsement.
-Ensure each delivery location is secure
- Ensure cargo is secure before and during transport
- Ensure proper Hazmat paperwork accompanies freight during transport and is transferred with the cargo.
