Crown Staffing is currently seeking multiple Die Cast Operators to fill openings with a company in Wilmington, OH.
Requirements of the Die Cast Operator
- Drug Test
- Background Check
- Must be able to understand and read English
- Able to stand in one place for 8 hrs
- Able to lift at least 35 pounds repetitively
- Able to bend, twist, and engage in repetitive motions

Shifts Available to the Die Cast Operator
Must attend orientation and training before starting shifts.
- Orientation on Mondays at 9 AM - 3:15 PM
- Training Tuesday - Friday, 6:45 AM - 3:30 PM
- Shifts: Sunday - Thursday, 10:55 PM - 6:55 AM
Responsibilities to the Die Cast Operator
- Carry out needs of production by following Standard Operational Procedures for die casting, quality inspections, and maintaining the performance of the die cast machine
- Achieving daily production targets and ensure part quality meets customer requirements
- Demonstrates all essential duties & responsibilities in die casting
- Start up and shutdown die-casting machines
- Trim parts using a wire wheel, hand file, or other hand tools
- Maintain the performance of the die-cast machine by connecting the water hose to the cooling system
- Preheat dies using a torch or electric heater
- Clean the inside of the die and pit area, replacing ladles, and cleaning
- Performing inspection of cast parts: Visual and with quality gauges
- Move baskets with a powered pallet jack
- Independently performs Q-time Checks to standards
- Understand part flow within the process and can identify abnormal process conditions
- Complete AGSS process loading, tag printing, and input NG scrap parts into AGSS system
- Fill out Daily Production Reports
- Ensure downtime issues are recorded with description and correct downtime code
- Transfer Daily Production Report information to the Production Board
- Complete segregation, following Standard Segregation Procedure when abnormal conditions create non-conforming products
- Perform safety device systems, performs equipment safety checks, and follows lock out procedure
