Perform the role as service technician, by working well with others as well as working alone on a project, whether it be to run a simple circuit for a 20 amp 120 volt receptacle or design, build and install a PLC based control panel, write the program, or prepare machinery for installation locally or at a customer facility.

Responsibilities:
Serve as the technical expert in troubleshooting, identifying, and resolving complex equipment operational issues.
Assist in installation and setup of equipment at customer locations.
Operate CNC equipment in a showroom environment for prospective customers.
Submit quotes to customers for site visits for troubleshooting, equipment repair.
Conduct customer site visits to inspect, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment operational issues.
Write summary reports of customer visits and findings.
Provide over the phone technical support to customers requiring assistance.
Travel 25-50% (occasional international travel may be required).
Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, have some experience developing customer relationships and can hit the ground running.
Requirements:
Strong Communication, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
Professional mindset
Trade School (or equivalent)
PLC programmer and developer utilizing platforms such as Allen-Bradley (A/B) RS Logix, Siemens, etc…
Troubleshooting various types of machinery with different controllers and relay logic
Reading Electrical Schematics
Machine troubleshooting ability
Ability to design and install control panels, PLC based, write ladder logic programs
Skilled at installing CNC equipment
