Requirements of the Machine Operator:
- Entry-level Machine Operator
- Must be able to stand in one spot for extended periods of time
- Previous experience in manufacturing environment or equivalent job related training preferred but not required
- Excellent attendance
-Attention to detail
-Work with management to report and monitor process compliance
-Ability to troubleshoot production equipment
-Effectively solve conflict in a courteous and professional manner
-Ability to work and make decisions independently
Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:
- Manufacture parts or products by operating production machines and equipment, using hand tools and fixtures, and assembling components as required
- Tests and visually inspects completed or in-process work, notifies supervisor or other personnel of manufacturing of quality problems, and documents quality conformance and production volumes during shift or run
- Prepares finished parts or product for shipment or routing to next processing stage, or notifies appropriate personnel that product is ready for packaging or shipment
- Rotates between different workstations or job assignments
-Maintains good housekeeping in work area
