Crown Services is searching for a service-oriented, team player to join their office in Avon, Indiana. The available position is for an experienced Staffing Specialist. The Staffing Specialist has an important role in the branch’s recruiting activities. From initial phone screenings to assisting current clients, the Staffing Specialist will be responsible for a variety of tasks contributing to the region’s success and continual growth.


Qualifications/Skills

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D. required
  • 1 year (2 preferred) experience in temporary light industrial or manufacturing staffing
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn new recruiting practices, trends, and policies
  • Must be able to multitask and perform well in high-pressure situations
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google programs
  • Excellent communication skills with attention to detail
  • Able to work well within a small team environment

Job Requirements

  • JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Handle a high volume of inbound calls to assist applicants
    • Regularly multitask between reading/answering e-mails, responding to client requests, and conducting mass recruiting campaigns
    • Set & conduct daily interviews to recruit/place associates for current job openings
    • Assist with HR tasks (E-Verify, conduct background checks, administer drug screens)
    • Coach applicants regarding strategies for interviewing, resume building and increasing work performance
    • Assist the Office Manager with administrative activities, such as creating spreadsheets, entering applications, and updating employee tracking systems=
