Job Description

One (1) Experienced Equipment Repair Tech:  Starting wage of $23 to $26.00 depending upon experience, preferably 5 years or more. Candidate must own his own tools.




Experience with:

mechanical aptitude - applicable industries are auto mechanics and/or farm equipment repair

both gas and diesel engine repair

hydraulics (brakes, transmissions)

able to read schematics (wiring, electrical, trouble-shooting)

type of equipment:  Toro turf maintenance, Club Car golf cars, Polaris GEM, etc.


Personal traits:

professional - will be grooming this person to eventually be our Road Tech who will meet customers

good communicator - looks people in the eyes, smiles, friendly

problem-solver; troubleshooting skills

quick thinker

go-getter

detailed oriented

excellent attendance record - 40 hours/week is expected


Job Requirements

  • Providing high quality repair service on equipment
  • Resolve minor customer service issues
  • Diagnose, service, and repair
  • Perform service, repair and inspections
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all service equipment
  • Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment
  • Provide service to customers while maintaining exceptional customer service
  • Install and/or repair a wide range of dock doors and operating systems
  • Assess customer's service/repair or installation needs and complete the installation or repair of the product to the customer's satisfaction and complete service documentation

  • Make service calls to customers and provide with expert installation and repair service to a variety of propane equipment
  • Perform quality vehicle service maintenance and repairs
