This Germantown plant is in need of a total of 4 for their Maintenance Dept. for 2nd / 3rd shifts, week-ends as needed ! ! 

Please read TWO separate job descriptions:

1. Maintenance Mechanic / Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Respond to requests for machinery repairs.
Problem solve with difficult repairs.
Maintain physical plant.
Maintain inventory of spare parts.
Maintain clean and safe work area.
Maintain full compliance of all safety rules and housekeeping excellence.

2. Maintenance Mechanical / Electrical Tech

Responsibilities / Duties include but not limited to:
•Repair/replace relays, versatile with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) equipment, printed circuit boards, and circuit control devices
• Perform electrical troubleshooting on; AC & DC motor drives (solid state and electro-mechanical), distribution panels, motor   controls, solenoids, relays, PLC, and other related devices
•Perform troubleshooting of electrical refrigeration equipment, locating and repairing electrical malfunction(s) this does not include system charging or reclamation
•Perform troubleshooting on pneumatic and hydraulic systems
•Perform building instrumentation system repairs, repairs are made following strict National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements
•Perform troubleshooting of material handling equipment, loading dock apparatus, and mechanical conveying equipment
•Perform and repair of plant lighting and ancillary electrical equipment systems
•Install conduit and cabling with strict adherence to NEC system requirements
•The ability to size wiring, starters, transformers, and over/under current protection with adherence to NEC and Milwaukee City specifications

Job Requirements

Maintenance Mechanic/Technician

At least 18 years old and high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to perform heavy lifting, do repetitive motion, use general mechanical tools.
Must know safety requirements and able to operate large equipment to include, but not limited to, electric lifts, articulating lifts, welding equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity of fluid power systems, pumps, plumbing, and rigging. Ability to use all shop tools properly. Ability to read machine drawings and electrical schematics.
Ability to weld

Maintenance Mechanical/Electrical Tech

High school diploma or equivalent
Military training and or Technical School preferred

Preferred Qualifications:
•2-3 years of Electro-Mechanical Automation System Installation & Troubleshooting Experience.
•An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes; motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems.
•A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
•A strong PLC trouble shooting and problem-solving ability with practical, mechanical & electrical aptitude.
•Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.
•Must be fully computer literate with Microsoft environment.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner.
•Ability to work various shifts / overtime / days per week.
•Corrugated background is a plus, but not required

*This Germantown plant is in need of a total of 4 for their Maintenance Dept. for 2nd/3rd shifts, week-ends as needed: Must be able to work 2nd (3pm-11pm) or 3rd shift (11pm-7am Sun-Thurs) as to be determined at hire!!! 

*Pay will range anywhere from $26-$35 / hour DOE; they are a Union facility
