Job Description

Blade Operator

Come work for a company that o ffers a complete line of portable and industrial sawmills, wideband sawmilling equipment, resaws, edgers, kilns, molders/planers, firewood processing equipment, pallet recycling equipment, material handling equipment, bandsaw blades, and blade maintenance equipment for forestry and timber professionals throughout the world.

Shift: Monday-Friday 2:00pm- 10:15pm + Overtime

Pay $15.00


  • Operate and Oversee Welding Machine during process of welding blades

  • Maintain blade welding equipment at its peak performance level

  • Maintain the quality of stamp ID#’s

  • Be responsible for accuracy of inventory - correct number stamped on the blade and boxes

  • Do routine daily clean up

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively throughout shift


  • Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)

  • machine operator: 1 year (Preferred)


  •  Previous Experience is a plus

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

  • Must pass a skills test

  • Must possess a positive attitude, strong verbal and written communication skills

  • A strong work ethic and sense of integrity is required

Job Requirements

  • Monitor welding performance and welding efficiency
  • Using welding techniques and appropriate welding equipment
  • Maintain welding supplies and maintenance of welding equipment
  • Perform welding duties using a wire welder
  • Setup welding machines to obtain proper welding penetration
  • Using processes gas metal arc welding (GMAW)
  • Operate other welding equipment or learn other welding processes
  • Specialize in certain types of welding such as custom fabrication, welding, structural construction welding, or production welding
  • Perform pipe fitting and pipe welding
  • Perform other types of welding including fabrication and plate welding
  • Perform arc, mig & tig welding operations
  • Using various welding techniques (tig, mig, and oxy acetylene welding)
  • Replace worn welding machine parts
  • Set up welding machines and welding various thickness and types of steel
  • Adjust welding current to proper weld configurations
  • Maintain and operate welding equipment
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools
  • Perform welding, repair and fabrication
  • Obtaining a structural welding certificate (CWB)
  • Using wrenches or welding equipment
