CNC Machinist in Milwaukee, WI at Crown Staffing

Job Description

Crown Staffing is searching for CNC machinists for a full-service sand casting manufacturer in Milwaukee, WI. The CNC machinists will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC turning and milling machines to meet precise tolerances. This is a Monday-Friday position working 6:00am-2:30pm with pay starting from $20/hour depending on experience.

CNC Machinists Requirements

• High school diploma with two years minimum of related combined experience.

• Basic set up experience on lathes and/or Machining centers

• Ability to read and alter programs

• Working on castings a plus

• Must have a general knowledge of machine shop practices and techniques acquired

through experiences

Monday-Friday | 6:00am-2:30pm | $20+ DOE

About the CNC Machinists Role

As a CNC machinist, your responsibilities will include:

• Short run orders

• Assist with proving out programs and process

• Maintain dimensional accuracy during processes using calipers, inside and outside

micrometers, height gages and indicators

• Set up and operate CNC turning and milling machines to meet precise tolerances

• Work from blueprints

• Follow and comply with all safety policy and procedures

• Contributes to team effort by assisting in all areas
