Crown Services is currently hiring Correctional Officers for temp to hire positions in LaGrange, Kentucky. We are looking for applicants with excellent communication skills, compassionate manner that deals with an eclectic population of patients.
Correctional Officers would be assigned to a 1st, or 2nd shift schedule. Hours will be 7:45 am - 9 pm or 7:45 pm to 9:00 am. Pay is between $14.00- $15.60 hourly depending on shift. This position offers weekly pay, PTO and healthcare coverage.
$300 SIGN ON BONUS AFTER COMPLETING 30 DAY ORIENTATION WITH PERFECT TIME/ATTENDANCE AND UPON RECEIVING A SCHEDULE!

Essential duties include but are not limited to:
Safe and humane management of patients
Interacting with patients to aid in rehabilitation programs
Applying rules in a consistent and fair manner
Monitoring the integrity of perimeter, locks, ventilation, etc...
Contacting center operations and requesting personnel in the event of an emergency
Overseeing patient transport
Restraining patients if necessary
Recognizing volatile situations and defusing when necessary
