Crown Services Healthcare is hiring Direct Support Professionals. This position will involve working with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities in a group home setting.

Job Description:
-Provide supervision and guidance for residents during skills-building activities
-Assist with daily living activities, including preparing meals and assisting with personal hygiene
-Develop a rapport with residents and cultivate a safe and supportive relationship
-Update resident case notes on a daily basis
-Assist with and work to strengthen the individuals’ many daily living needs, including but not limited to: nutrition, hygiene, exercise, communication, and socialization skills
-Help individuals to bathe, groom and dress, eat and drink if necessary, always working to improve self-reliance

  • Teach and assist with everyday living skills, support individuals with community activities including paid employment and volunteer opportunities, facilitate community relationships
  • Instruct individuals with daily living skills
  • Work in a residentialsetting, providing support to individuals with intellectual and developmentaldisabilities
  • Work in a residential setting, providing support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Support people with intellectual/developmental disabilities in living best life in a safe environment
  • Assist each client, as needed, in skill development in areas such as activities of daily living, domestic living, recreation, socialization
  • Provide opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities to enhance personal fulfillment and growth
