Job Description

We are seeking a Distribution Center-Trouble Expediter to become a part of our team! You will manage a logistics team and direct daily operations. This is a Direct Hire/Permanent position and you will be on their payroll from day 1!

We have 2 shifts available. 1st shift is 6a-2:30p and the 2nd shift is 2p-11:30p. Pay will depend on experience and is negotiable.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee logistics systems and daily operations
  • Coordinate distribution process with various departments
  • Develop and improve inventory purchasing processes
  • Review costs for optimal budget planning
  • Identify areas to optimize distribution and warehouse programs
  • Omaha DC-Trouble Expediter - (6am-2:30pm)

    Summary: This position will research and resolve discrepancies with merchandise.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Research trouble shipments in RDM, RMS,VMS and QRS
  • Research ASN problems. Communicate with Stage Buyers and the EDI department
  • Identify system issues and communicate them to IS
  • Assist the Department Lead in training new associates, promoting safety awareness and reporting safety concerns
  • Coordinate activities of Associates including conducting audits, verifying accuracy, monitoring for efficient flow of merchandise and the resolution of problems
  • Identify and communicate to Lead or Manager the performance situations of Associates and contractors
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance
  • Follow company policies and maintain a safe work environment
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Job Requirements

  • Training, Skills, Knowledge and/or Experience:

  • 6 months experience with RDM, WSS, RTI systems and RF
  • 6 months picking experience and ability to process and ship RRV’s through RDM and the RTB system
  • Excellent computer/keyboarding skills required
  • Experience with MS Office Programs and have knowledge of excel formulas and spreadsheets
  • Able to multitask, detail oriented, well organized and maintain accurate records
  • Able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Able to make appropriate decisions and resolve issues with little or no direction
  • Able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical Requirements:

  • Have the physical ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
  • Able to walk or stand for shifts up to eight plus hours, with appropriate breaks
  • Able to grasp, push, pull, stoop, kneel, walk stairs and make repetitive movements on a consistent basis
  • Able to handle temperature fluctuations
  • Able to work up to 40 hours per week with overtime and weekends as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in logistics, warehouse, or other related field
  • Experience as a manager or supervisor
  • Strong leadership qualities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
