We are looking for several Forklift Operators to work in a busy warehouse. Hours are Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays 4:00 pm-1:00 am or 7:00 am – 5:30 pm Thursday to Sunday with occasional Saturdays. The position consists of loading, order fulfillment, cycle counting, put-a-way, and all other warehouse activities. Must have at least 1 year of proficiency in stand up forklift experience.
- complete knowledge of company GDPs
- counts all product and check for damage, infestation, and unique product identifiers (part number, batches, etc)
- reports any shortages/overages/damages on appropriate forms
- applies appropriate labels to products
- efficiently stack and store the product in a manner that will not damage products
- assists in physical inventories
- maintain a neat, clean, and orderly work area and follows company housekeeping policies and procedures
- responsible for food safety
- Operate various vehicles for storage or removal of materials
- Prepare products and materials for shipment
- Load, unload, and stage products and materials
- Track and record units of materials handled
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
