Pay Rate: $23.00 - $29.50/hr plus $1.50 lead premium

Job Requirements

*Key Responsibilities*

To plan, coordinate and supervise the activities of assigned maintenance personnel in a manner set to achieve the goals and objectives set by management.

' Conduct a thorough investigation of all incidents and make recommendations on mitigation and the need for a Practical Problem Solving event.

' Create list of weekly safety topics for the shop floor supervisors and distribute prior to their weekly safety meeting.

' Manage assigned maintenance resources to support safety and environmental improvements,

' Work closely with production supervisors to identify and eliminate safety issues.

' Spearhead the Machinery Risk Assessment process for the plant.

' Manage / maintain work order request from the plant.

' Assign work to maintenance techs.

' Maintain maintenance history through Shopware program.

' Schedule outside contractors to complete required repairs and PM's.

' Other duties as assigned.

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions and/or give instructions and direction.  Ability to deal with problems involving several variables on a day to day basis.

Must have basic computer skills.
