Job Description

Crown Services Healthcare is accepting applications for a Nurse Supervisor for a local group home treating residents with TBI and spinal injuries. This full time career opportunity is Direct Hire, and offers competitive salary with growth and earning potential! This opportunity is open to RN and LPN candidates with supervisor experience. Experience caring for TBI/spinal injury patients is preferred. Pay is based on credentials and experience.

As a Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients, along with allocation of resources and division of labor for internal staff, including junior nurses, technicians, and trained patent aides. The Nurse Supervisor will also provide consult to patient families and interested parties, and confer with attending or consulting physicians and specialists


  • Administer nursing care residents
  • Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
  • Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
  • Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
  • Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
  • Maintain accurate patient medical records
  • Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
  • Closely monitor workmanship of direct reports, documenting all deviations and occurrences of non-compliance
  • Manage time and attendance, holding the team accountable to applicable schedules and policies
  • Perform discipline with reports (verbal, written, separation)
  • Perform regulatory performance evaluations¬†

Job Requirements

Familiarity with medical software and equipment

Nurses will work in a collaborative environment to provide treatment, support and care to patients. All services are at the highest standard of professional practice, complying with standards by both federal and state regulations along with facility policy.

Must possess an Associate or Bachelor degree in Nursing and a valid Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse license issued by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or a Nursing Board in the 'Compact State Agreement'.
