Job Description

Crown Services Inc. is looking for a top notch Quality Control Technician to test and inspect plastic medical devices at various stages of production and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties.

First Shift Hours: 8:00am-2:30pm (Monday - Friday)

Second Shift Hours: 2:030pm-1:00am (Monday-Friday)

Pay Rate: $14.50

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Selects products for tests at specified stages in production process, and tests products for a variety of qualities such as dimensions and performance.

  • Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.

  • Evaluates returns from customer complaints.

  • Sets up and performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics. Places non-conforming products on hold if necessary.

  • Conducts final inspection audits.

  • Enters data into computer for analysis.

  • Files and maintains quality test records.
    Verifies set-up parts for machine adjustments.

  • Assists in new product testing development.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Complete quality documentation (deviation investigations)
  • Ensure product meets quality control criteria
  • Communicate quality related problems to operations and quality supervision, and other necessary parties
