S/R DISTRIBUTION COORDINATOR

*Will coordinate all activities of shipping, receiving and warehouse department to meet or exceed the company's performance. Works with customer service on timely delivery requirements in the most cost efficient method. This position ships and receives finished products, unfinished parts and supplies, raw materials and general material handling duties if needed

Responsibilities:

- Drive Safety initiatives in the Logistics area

- Use JDE tools correctly for maintaining accurate inventory in the plant and warehouse

- Perform assigned duties to ship finished products and receive raw materials, unfinished parts and supplies including weighing, coordinating shipping schedules, loading and unloading trucks

- Responsible for the storage and movement of materials in storage and process areas and select and prepare products for shipment to customer

- Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, loading and securing product in accordance with SOP

- Maintans proper inventory levels of packing supplies, pallets, assures accuracy of all packing lists and labeling

- Control and minimize inventory levels by conducting physical counts, reconciling with data storage system

- Maintain physical condition of the warehouse by planning design layouts, inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisition for replacement
