Job Description

Great opportunity in the Columbus area for experienced salespeople.  The Columbus office is currently looking for 2 to 3 outside sales representatives.

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for developing new accounts and servicing existing accounts in the Representative’s assigned territory in the Columbus area, and is also responsible for promoting and selling Crown’s staffing services via personal contact with potential clients by regularly calling on clients at their place of business.

  •  Aggressively seek out new business though cold-calling, networking and following up on referrals; calling and e-mailing potential clients in order to set up face to face appointments to meet at the client's place of business
  • Conduct Sales Presentations
  • Execute Proposals
  • Properly Qualify Job Orders
  • Properly Qualify Prospects/Clients
  • Regularly attend Internal and External Sales Meetings
  • Reporting Requirements including CRM Management 
  • Conduct Needs Analysis of Prospects and Existing Customer
  • Candidate Skill Marketing 
  • Follow up on qualified sales leads
  • Properly access safety at client/prospect site by performing walk through and reviews of OSHA logs 
  • Support the WBE Initiatives in sales process 
  • Support Cross Selling Efforts and Initiatives Region wide, Company-wide
  • Represent the organization in a professional manner 
  • Meet and Exceed all sales objectives as predetermined by your manager 
  • Develop and cultivate network relationships with local businesses 
  • Service and penetrate existing accounts by providing excellent customer service for our clients 
  • Identify the needs of staffing personnel and communicate to staffing coordinators the pertinent details and job information so field associate placements are a good fit for the client’s needs 
  • Create and deliver a strategic sales plan, and maintain sales contact records and reports 
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements


  • At least 3 years of sales experience in a competitive sales environment 
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Must be sales & customer service oriented, sales-driven, and possess strong negotiation skills 
  • Previous experience in the recruiting/staffing industry is preferred 
  • Highly developed telephone, customer service, and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Demonstrated success in obtaining and maintaining accounts
