Crown Services is proud to accept applications for a Tax Professional in the Monticello, KY area! This full-time opportunity pays $10/hr and is expected to start in early December. Hours are typically Monday-Friday 9am-6pm. Paid training begins in early December for 40-60 hours, then work begins January 4th. Bonuses may apply at the end of the tax season.
This seasonal assignment is expected to last 16-20 weeks. After successfully completing this assignment, you may be considered for other temporary, or long term opportunities with Crown Services!
As a Tax Professional, you can expect to:
● Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients.
● Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
● Provide clients with IRS audit support.
● Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
● Mentor and support teammates.
Serious candidates will have the following experience, skills, or education:
● Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax.
● Experience completing individual tax returns.
● Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
● Ability to effectively communicate in person and in writing.
● Successful completion of the company Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
● Must complete an 18-hour continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements.
Preferred but not required credentials:
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
● CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
● Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
● 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax.
● Tax planning and audit support experience.
● Sales and/or marketing experience.
