Five Days/wk. (8-hour shifts)
Full-Time, 40hrs./wk.
$16 an hour.
Rotating schedule.
Overtime available
This career opportunity is temp with intent to hire. While on assignment as a Crown Jewel, you can expect to enjoy such benefits as weekly pay, MEC health benefits, direct deposit or pay card, and the ongoing support of your Crown Staffing Team, who work to advocate for your success! After successfully completing the required 520 hours, you may be considered for permanent placement with the client company!
As a Life Skills Trainer, your responsibilities will include:
Care for multiple residents in the ADT, residential, and community setting
Observe residential rights
Assist with Activities of Daily Living, Personal Care and assistance with:
Prepare /Serves meals
Bathing & Dressing
Transfers to and from bed, chair, wheelchair, other locations
Incontinence when required
Personal & Dental hygiene
Keep (daily) logs for bowel movements, urine output, medication, meals, etc..
Assist in ambulation; Assist with movement throughout the shift
Observe clients throughout the day: Condition, mood, reactions, attitude, appetite & report changes accordingly to leadership
Keep home/ residential space tidy, change bedding, clean accordingly, etc.
Evacuate residents in an emergency according to safety policies.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
