Job Description


General Summary: Provides technical support and service as needed to maintain and improve product quality and related systems within the company, our customers, and our suppliers.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Regularly review and communicate customer requirements are understood at all levels of the organization.

  • Provide service to customers

  • Reduce customer complaints and internal scrap

  • Respond to customer complaints

  • Perform trials for process and material development

  • Mentor and supervise activities of department personnel

  • Assist in training personnel in quality related issues

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Sr. Quality Manager


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • General understanding of company products, materials and processes

  • Ability to accurately interpret customer specifications and drawings

  • General understanding of Quality and

  • Familiarity with ISO and or ISO/IATF 16949 Standards

  • Knowledge of Windows applicationsĀ 

  • Ability to resolve problems (Root cause analysis and Corrective actions)

  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and employees in a courteous and professional manner


Education and Experience: Experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control in a manufacturing environment. Experience working in the automotive industry. A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.


Job Requirements

  • Implement quality assurance training programs
  • Oversee daily quality control reports
  • Supervise activities of quality control/quality assurance associates within a manufacturing facility
  • Coordinate and direct a quality program designed to ensure quality control and quality assurance of product production
  • Assisting with quality inspection and quality analysis of products
  • Oversee the quality assurance inspection department
  • Direct quality assurance program and systems
  • Report to the quality control supervisor
  • Adapt inspection equipment to meet quality control standards
  • Enforcing quality control standards and procedures
  • Obtained during all quality assurance activities
  • Attend safety and quality training
  • Train the production team and quality inspectors to meet quality requirements
  • Supporting the quality assurance and food safety program
  • Resolve quality problems and implement effective quality systems
  • Promote a culture of quality and oversee quality assurance processes
  • Oversee incoming inspection and in-process quality assurance
  • Promote customer quality requirements and plant quality targets to plant personnel
  • Arise from a quality assurance review
  • Evaluate quality assurance issues or problems forwarded by quality assurance inspectors and recommend solutions
