Job Description

  • Troubleshoots and repairs production equipment (e.g. cutter-pullers, extruders, expanders, reelers, conveyors, etc.). Problems are diagnosed by using troubleshooting techniques described in machine manuals and by collecting information on symptoms from production employees. When guidelines for troubleshooting are not available, the individual must be able to understand drawings and schematics, and effectively interact with vendor support to identify failed components. When required, the Maintenance Technician must be able to use computer-based software, operator interfaces, and a multimeter to diagnose problems.

 

  • Troubleshoots and repairs building and production support equipment (e.g. compressors, chiller, forklifts, HVAC systems, etc.). Basic preventative maintenance and repair is performed on this equipment, but outside vendors are utilized when repair is extensive or we are unable to effectively troubleshoot.

 

  • Performs preventative maintenance tasks.

Job Requirements

  • This position requires strong mechanical aptitude and good troubleshooting skills.
  • Prior experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician is highly desired, but we will train the right candidate for the job. 

Hours:  Monday through Friday, 8 hrs per day. Flexible start time between 7:00 am and 8:00 am.     


$16.50-$26.50 / hour DOE
