Job Description

Kansas City Kansas fabrication facility is looking for a qualified MIG Welder. Will be welding on galvanized steel. Ability to read blue prints is a plus. Position is full time temp to hire. It is a 1st shift Monday - Friday with some overtime required.

Job Requirements

  • Monitor welding performance and welding efficiency
  • Using welding techniques and appropriate welding equipment
  • Maintain welding supplies and maintenance of welding equipment
  • Setup welding machines to obtain proper welding penetration
  • Replace worn welding machine parts
  • Set up welding machines and welding various thickness and types of steel
  • Adjust welding current to proper weld configurations
  • Maintain and operate welding equipment
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools
  • Perform welding, repair and fabrication
  • Obtaining a structural welding certificate (CWB)
  • Using wrenches or welding equipment
