Job Description

Duties Include:

• Performing receiving, first/last, and in-process inspection to ensure products

comply with quality standards.

• Collect, store, and maintain documentation of inspections using established

procedures and formats.

• Documentation and disposition of non-conforming materials

• Review material certification against customer specifications.

• Assist with customer PPAP submissions.

• Will occasionally work in production doing some machine operation as well.

• Forklift operation / Exp is preferred but they will train if needed. Must be willing to learn and do that as part of their job duties!! (Will have to move product to get at and inspect incoming product.)

Job Requirements

Requirements Include:

• Interpretation of engineering blueprints (including GD&T) and specifications.

• Measuring devices (cmm, optical comparator, caliper, micrometer, etc.) and their


• CMM operation and/or programing (Zeiss Calypso) a plus.

• Proficient with computer and software programs such as Microsoft Office. Exact

Jobboss and Unipoint Quality experience a plus.

• Experience with metal stamping/assembly preferred.

• Associate degree or specialized training preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to deal with all levels

of staff, customers, suppliers, and operations.

• Ability to work as a team member in a fast paced environment

• Demonstrated success handling multiple priorities in changing environments.

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and successfully resolve problems.

• Solid organizational and communication skills

• Ability and willingness to work overtime as required and mandated by production


• APQP, PPAP, ISO, Statistical Process Control a plus.
