Job Description

Crown Services is proud to accept applications for COVID-19 Social Support Connectors! This opportunity is on first shift, pays $21/hr, and is projected to start on 9/22/20. This position is mostly full time, however, there may be weeks with less than 32 hours.


Candidates are needed in all of the following counties: Green, Russell, Casey, and Clinton. You must live in one of these counties to be considered for the position.


This assignment is expected to last 6+ months. After successfully completing this assignment, you may be considered for other temporary, or long term opportunities with Crown Services!

Contact tracing is part of the process of supporting patients with suspected or confirmed infection. In contact tracing, public health staff works with a patient to help them recall everyone with whom they have had close contact during the timeframe while they may have been infectious.


Serious candidates will have the following experience, skills, or education:

● Experience working with patients or customers in a healthcare setting.

● Proven ability to handle multiple transactions while also expertly noting interactions with patients.

● Availability to work a full-time schedule

As a Social Support Connector, you can expect to:

● Notify exposed individuals (contacts) of their potential exposure as rapidly and sensitively as possible.

● Utilize excellent and sensitive interpersonal, cultural sensitivity, and interviewing skills such that you build and maintain trust with patients and contacts as you work with a patient to help them recall everyone with whom they have had close contact during the timeframe while they may have been infectious.

● Provide contacts with education, information, and support to understand their risk, what they should do to separate themselves from others who are not exposed, monitor themselves for illness, and the possibility that they could spread the infection to others even if they themselves do not feel ill.
